At the very core of every Yasda Mother Machine lies the spindle — the true engine of performance and precision. It’s not just a component. It’s the heart that keeps everything running to the highest standard.

So, what makes a Yasda spindle so unique?

It handles both heavy-duty cutting at low speeds and high-speed machining with extreme accuracy — all while minimizing heat generation.
This is achieved through a self-adjusting preload mechanism: at low speeds, the spindle applies high preload for stability. As speed increases and the spindle heats up, preload optimised automatically — ensuring consistent performance and preventing the bearing burn.
This intelligent system allows the machine to tackle hardened steel rough machining, high-speed operations for fine finish, and high-precision helix milling, even under reverse-thrust conditions.

To maintain thermal stability, cooling oil circulates through the spindle and spindle motor — the main heat-generating parts of the machine — allowing stable precision across the full speed range.

The dual-coil spindle motor supports both high-speed rotation and high-torque, low-speed cutting. Meanwhile, its slim nose design ensures optimal access to complex workpieces in case of 5-axis complex machining.
